Today I would like to share an advantage of Nikonians Annotate Expert with you. It is not a funny story I used for this kind of article, but it is a great opportunity to show you, how Annotate can be used.
Recently BP has released a very nice picture of their crises center based in Housten. On the first view it is an impressive image of people working in front of big screens. This picture has been released with the purpose to show how the current situation is and how much equipment they are using t observe the leak.
But then it turned out as a fake picture. “America blog” was one of the first sites pointing this fake out. But see yourself.
All pictures coming now have been edited with Nikonians Annotate. It shows how easy annotations can be done.
This is how the original picture looks like:
If you zoom in, bad cropping will be the first you recognize.
But thats not all. In some areas it is obvious how stupid they have pasted wrong cropped pictures inside:
Please do not think that this is all. No, there are much more mistakes inside. But before I give you the link to the original picture, please have a final look on the exif data of the picture. It looks like a bad joke. But it is real that PB is showing a picture which has been taken in March 2001.
If you can´t believe it please feel free to read the original post of the American Blog and the Washington Post.
If you want to have a look on the original picture please feel free to download it here.
Beside the fact that this is an extremly embarrassing story, I hope you could see how easy annotation can be done with Nikonians Annotate expert. In every industry where using pictures is necessary Annotate can help you to be more efficient. Designer, Architects, Experts, Consultants, Censors and many more.
